Police are investigating the troubling death of a 1-year-old baby boy inside a Brooklyn affordable housing complex as a homicide, according to authorities and reports.

Cops discovered little Anthony Casey unconscious and unresponsive after responding to a 911 call inside the NYCHA complex on Thatford Avenue and Newport Street in Brownsville just before 5 p.m. Friday, according to the NYPD.

EMS transported the tot to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

The New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Casey’s death a homicide, the Daily News reported.

The 1-year-old suffered blunt force injuries to his torso, according to the medical examiner.

The OCME did not respond to The Post’s request for comment by the time of publication.

There have been no arrests, cops said.

The incident remains under investigation.
