Cops are hunting down two men who they say hung a noose from a water tower in Queens last week.
Two unidentified men allegedly hung the noose from the top of a water tower located at 82-26 Northern Boulevard in Jackson Heights on March 25 around 7:20 p.m., police said.
Surveillance footage shows the men fleeing afterward, walking southbound on 83rd Street, police said.
The first suspect is seen in the surveillance images wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, while the second suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt and a burgundy vest.
Neither suspect has been publicly identified by police, and it was not immediately clear Monday if the NYPD had a person of interest.
There were no injuries in the incident, police said.
The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
