A pair of teenagers were shot and wounded when gunfire erupted outside an Upper West Side McDonald’s on Halloween night, authorities and law enforcement sources said.

Two victims, 17 and 19, were struck near 72nd Street and Amsterdam Avenue Thursday around 6:30 p.m., police and sources said.

The younger victim was hit in the leg and the older victim sustained gunshot wounds to the arm, according to cops and sources.

Both were hospitalized in stable condition with the 19-year-old walking into Mount Sinai for treatment, law enforcement sources said.

Authorities said four male suspects fled the scene, though it’s believed there was only one gunman as the investigation continues.

Four shell casings were recovered at the scene, police said.

Witnesses described chaos as gunshots rang out during the festive night in a usually safe part of Manhattan.

Witness Hugo Souza told ABC 7 five to six people, including one victim, fled inside the McDonald’s when the shooting started.

The victim’s friends took their shirts off and tightly wrapped their clothing around the young man’s leg, he said.

“They were panicking,” another witness, Melanie Mate, told the station.

“Some of the guys were calling somebody that their friend got shot. Some were calling 911. And in a few minutes the police came.”

A local who lives nearby had just returned from trick-or-treating with his 5-year-old when he heard gunfire.
