Unlike many of its streaming rivals, Peacock doesn’t always add new movies throughout the month.
To find the underappreciated gems, you’ll have to dive deep into Peacock’s movie library.
Fortunately for you, Watch With Us has already done the work for the upcoming Easter weekend.
This week’s picks for the three underrated Peacock movies that you need to watch include a heist film, a sci-fi rom-com and a man vs. beast thriller.
‘The Italian Job’ (2003)
The Fate of the Furious director F. Gary Gray had some prior experience with action heists from his 2003 remake of The Italian Job. Mark Wahlberg stars as Charlie Croker, one of the surviving members of the crew led by John Bridger (Donald Sutherland). During the team’s last heist, Steve Frazelli (Ed Norton) turned on his friends, murdered John and stole their misappropriated gold out from under them.
To avenge their leader, Charlie recruits John’s daughter, Stella Bridger (Charlize Theron), to help them trick Steve and reclaim their stolen gold. Unfortunately for the team, Steve isn’t an easy mark and he’s already looking over his shoulder for a double-cross. For Charlie and his ragtag crew, finishing this job is going to take a little finesse and a lot of luck.

‘Timer’ (2009)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer standout Emma Caulfield takes the lead in Timer, a romantic comedy with a slight sci-fi twist. In this world, science can accurately predict when two soulmates will meet if they’re both equipped with a TiMER in their bodies. As Oona O’Leary (Caufield) discovers, her TiMER is useless because her would-be partner has never purchased one.
Without the benefit of a TiMER telling her who she should be with, Oona develops feelings for two guys: Mikey Evers (John Patrick Amedori) and Dan (Desmond Harrington). Just as Oona gets used to working things out for herself, her TiMER finally activates.

‘Beast’ (2022)
If your idea of a great Easter weekend involves Idris Elba fighting a man-eating lion to the death, then you’re in luck. Beast casts Elba as Dr. Nate Samuels, a man who is attempting to emotionally reconnect with his daughters, Meredith (Iyana Halley) and Norah (Leah Sava Jeffries), following the death of their mother.
It turns out that trying to survive a killer lion is a great bonding experience, if everyone survives. This vacation to a South African jungle preserve goes sideways pretty quickly, leaving Nate and his daughters trapped with his badly wounded friend, Martin Battles (Sharlto Copley), as the king of the jungle follows their every move.
Beast is streaming on Peacock.
