The NYPD released video early Monday of a masked suspect in the weekend shooting of a 12-year-old and 13-year-old boy in a Bronx McDonald’s.
The footage shows the alleged perp strolling around the fast-food eatery on White Plains Road in the moments before the gunfire erupted late Saturday.
It shows the suspect wearing a surgical face mask while pacing through the McDonald’s with his hands stuffed inside the pockets of a hooded sweatshirt.
Police rushed to the scene after reports of a shooting came in just before 10 p.m — with the gunman firing off at least six shots before fleeing, cops said.
When officers arrived, they found the 12-year-old boy with gunshot wounds to his back and left leg and his friend nursing a bullet hole in his left thigh, according to police.
Both kids were rushed Jacobi Hospital Medical Center in a stable condition, police said.
The motive for the shooting wasn’t immediately clear.
Cops are urging anyone who recognizes the alleged perp to contact NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip at the Crime Stoppers website.
