Taiwan stocks higher at close of trade; Taiwan Weighted up 0.75% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Taiwan, the rose 0.75%.

The best performers of the session on the were Arima Communications Corp (TW:), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Paiho Shih Holdings Corp (TW:) added 10.00% or 2.30 points to end at 25.30 and Les Enphants Co Ltd (TW:) was up 9.96% or 0.91 points to 10.05 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Lead Data Inc (TW:), which fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Sino Horizon Holdings Ltd (TW:) declined 7.67% or 3.05 points to end at 36.70 and Creative Sensor Inc (TW:) was down 7.54% or 4.60 points to 56.40.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Arima Communications Corp (TW:) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 350.24% or 7.39 to 9.50. Shares in Paiho Shih Holdings Corp (TW:) rose to 52-week highs; up 10.00% or 2.30 to 25.30. Shares in Les Enphants Co Ltd (TW:) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.96% or 0.91 to 10.05.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.12% or 0.09 to $73.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.15% or 0.12 to hit $77.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 7.70 to trade at $2,686.90 a troy ounce.

USD/TWD was unchanged 0.00% to 32.04, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.09% to 0.22.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 101.63.
