Vice President Kamala Harris was slammed Monday for going on the X-rated Call Her Daddy podcast as large parts of the Southeast try to pick up the pieces after one of the deadliest storms in US history — because Harris said the program discusses “things people really care about.”

The podcast, hosted by Alex Cooper, is usually a free-flowing — and graphic — discussion of sex intended for a female audience.

The episode featuring Harris, released Sunday, was given over to discussion of topics including abortion and domestic abuse — with the veep outraging some listeners by claiming there are “no” laws that control men’s bodies, either forgetting or ignoring that males are required to register for potential military conscription at the age of 18.

Harris recorded the interview during the after-effects of Hurricane Helene, which has claimed the lives of 232 people on the East Coast.

“I think you and your listeners have really got this thing right, which is one of the best ways to communicate with people is to be real, you know, and to talk about the things that people really care about,” Harris told Cooper.

But many critics pointed out that the podcast didn’t touch on many pressing issues at all.

“I’m sorry, but I don’t give a f— about Kamala Harris going on Call Her Daddy – a podcast about women and women’s sex health, when we have states LITERALLY UNDER WATER [sic],” one X user wrote.

The Trump campaign also argued Harris should not have given the podcast a miss.

Collin Rugg, co-owner of Trending Politics, slammed the vice president for going on a podcast with explicit content, while more critics took issue with her statement that “no” government laws control male bodies.

“Kamala Harris and the Call Her Daddy chick attempt to come up with any governmental law that controls a man’s body. Both say there isn’t one. Then laugh. The correct answer is, yes, the draft. Which has cost over a million male lives in US history,” Outkick founder Clay Travis wrote on X.

Harris did not detail any new policies in the interview, but did speak at length about former President Donald Trump appointing three Supreme Court justices that voted to overturn Roe v. Wade and revert regulation of abortion back to the states.

She also called Sen. JD Vance “mean-spirited” for referring to “childless cat ladies” being in charge of the US government.

Trump, 78, has repeatedly been invited to appear on the podcast, but has yet to give a formal response, according to a source close to the discussions.
