A blaze broke out at the NYPD’s auto pound in Brooklyn on Wednesday, damaging 22 vehicles two years after a fire destroyed decades worth of evidence at the facility, officials and sources said.

The fire erupted at 12:47 p.m. at the Erie Basin Auto Pound in Red Hook, sending massive plumes of smoke overhead, according to the FDNY.

The flames left 22 cars damaged, law enforcement sources told The Post.

More than 100 smoke eaters responded to the two-alarm blaze, the FDNY said.

No injuries were reported and the fire was under control about two hours later.

The inferno came years after a massive three-alarm fire wrecked cold case evidence stored inside the warehouse on Dec. 13, 2022.
