Jason Kelce was given some congratulations on Kylie Kelce’s pregnancy during Monday Night Football — right before helping another couple find out the sex of their own baby.

“This is a week about family. By the way, congrats to the growing family, very exciting news,” Monday Night Countdown cohost Scott Van Pelt told Kelce, 37, during ESPN’s Monday, November 25, broadcast during the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Baltimore Ravens game.

After cohosts Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark echoed Van Pelt’s sentiments and shook Kelce’s hand, the foursome then turned their attention to two fans in the stands at SoFi Stadium who were looking for the show to help them with their own sex reveal.

“Tell us if it’s a boy or girl, we’re pregnant with the next Ravens fan!” two signs read as the couple waved to the cameras.

News in an interview published on Monday, November 25. “There’s another girl, so the clothes are all going to be hand-me-downs or already bought. […]

Van Pelt explained that the twosome had given the envelope to the hosts, saying, “I’ve never been this nervous on televison before. It’s on me to open this up.”

After Van Pelt got the envelope opened, he showed his fellow broadcasters and together, they yelled, “It’s a boy!” As they clapped from their desks, the camera panned to the couple who were hugging, kissing and crying over the exciting news.

“We’re bringing families together, it’s a Thanksgiving miracle,” Van Pelt said, while Spears added, “For everybody at home, this was no planned. They were standing there with a sign and wanted us to do a gender reveal, so we did!”

Kylie announced her fourth pregnancy via Instagram on Friday, November 22. “I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister,” she wrote at the time. “At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page! 🤷‍♀️.”

In the accompanying photo, the couple’s three daughters, Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 3, and Bennett, 21 months, wore matching pink sweaters with “big sister” stitched on them. While Ellie was smiling at the camera, Wyatt wore a panicked expression and held her hands over her ears, and Bennett cried as tears ran down her face.

Jason Kelce swiped right and found love with Kylie Kelce — even if their first date got off to a rocky start. “[I] definitely fell asleep,” the former Philadelphia Eagles athlete recalled on his “New Heights” podcast in September 2023. “Got a little too inebriated, but I was sober enough to know it was the […]

Kylie previously denied pregnancy rumors in July. After sharing the news that she is expecting again, she reposted her past TikTok, in which she shook her head and said, “I’m not [pregnant].” The video then slowed down, faded to black and showed the phrase “Famous Last Words” before including footage of her daughters posing for their “big sister” photos.

Kylie captioned the video “#FAFO,” which is an abbreviation for “f— around and find out,” and set the clip to Shania Twain’s hit “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”

Jason, for his part, opened up in a Monday, November 25, interview with E! News about the pair’s preparations ahead of baby No. 4.

“I got it pretty easy, I’m not gonna lie,” he told the outlet. “There’s another girl, so the clothes are all going to be hand-me-downs or already bought. The crib is already situated. So we’re pretty set.”

Jason also joked that Kylie — whom he married in April 2018 — is “definitely preparing more than I am because she’s actually growing the human being.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Jason expressed his delight over being a girl dad.

“I love my kids so much, and especially my daughters,” he gushed. “I was telling somebody out there because they’re expecting their first — and they look at you. They smile at you. There’s just a way that kids have to warm your soul in a way that nothing else can.”

Jason noted that it has been “such a blessing to have three healthy, smart, wonderful children” and hoped the same for their fourth baby. “We’ll be able to watch them fight and tear each other apart and all the good stuff,” he added.

While Jason Kelce’s parents have been making headlines, his in-laws prefer to stay under the radar and let their daughter, Kylie Kelce (née McDevitt), navigate the spotlight. Originally from Philadelphia, Kylie always has support close by when taking care of her and Jason’s three daughters — Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett. “She’s from the area. Both […]

Jason went on to share that his family is just as “excited” about his and Kylie’s expanding family as they are.

“Mom and Dad [Donna and Ed Kelce], they got the best stage in being grandparents,” he said. “They go and spoil them, really have fun with them, and then hand them back, so we’re the ones that got to be the bad cops. So, they’re excited, for sure.”
