Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the added 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the were Disway SA (CSE:), which rose 4.25% or 27.00 points to trade at 663.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Managem (CSE:) added 3.76% or 105.00 points to end at 2,900.00 and Ste Nationale de Siderurgie SA (CSE:) was up 3.18% or 29.90 points to 969.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Salafin (CSE:), which fell 4.72% or 26.80 points to trade at 541.20 at the close. Marocaine Ste de Therapeutique SA (CSE:) declined 1.46% or 14.00 points to end at 945.00 and Risma (CSE:) was down 1.30% or 3.00 points to 227.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 24 to 24 and 7 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.89% or 0.62 to $70.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.68% or 0.50 to hit $73.91 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.14% or 30.76 to trade at $2,678.64 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.06% to 10.47, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.05% to 9.98.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 106.73.
