President Donald Trump prompted a crowd of gamblers on a Las Vegas casino floor to burst into cheers Saturday — as he received a hero’s welcome while taking a tour of the facility after giving a speech in Sin City.
The raucous gaming enthusiasts chanted “USA! USA!,” as the president made his victory lap at the Circa Resort & Casino in Vegas’ downtown gambling district, where Trump had just made a speech in which he promised to eliminate taxes on tips.
Trump clapped and excited the crowd who held their phones up to capture this brush with history.
A waitress who Trump stopped to speak with could be seen on video saying, “Thank you. We appreciate you.”
Trump was then directed to a craps table where he hung out with a couple of gentleman who were shooting dice.
“You want to roll?,” one of the men cooly asked the world’s most powerful man.
“No, I want him to roll,” Trump responded quickly, indicating the man with the dice should do the honors.
That man would roll a “hard four” — which is the number two on each die — to which Trump said: “Not bad!”
One of the gamblers even snuck a selfie in with the prez.
Trump then shook the men’s hands and continued on his loaded schedule.
In just the past two days President Trump has made public appearances in North Carolina to address the fallout of Hurricane Helene, Los Angeles to discuss the recovery from the LA fires, and Las Vegas for a rally to promote his “no tax on tips” campaign promise.
