Following their disappointing performance in the 2025 Super Bowl, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is weighing in on teammate Travis Kelce’s NFL future. “I’ll let Travis make that decision on his own. He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL and been such a joy not only for me to work with, but [for] people to watch,” Mahomes told reporters after Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9. Mahomes insisted that Kelce — who has spent his entire career with the Chiefs since he was drafted in 2013 — still has “a lot of football left in him” after this season.. Kelce became the highest-paid tight end in the NFL after signing a two-year, $34.25 extension deal last spring, but saw little action on Sunday.
