Three American women were found dead at a beach resort in Belize — with cops eyeing possible drug overdoses after finding “alcohol and some gummies” in their room.

Kaoutar Naqqad, 23, Imane Mallah, 24, and Wafae El-Arar, 26 — all from Revere, Mass. — were found dead Saturday at the Royal Kahal Beach Resort in San Pedro, police said.

Housing staff attempted to contact the women several times on Friday after surveillance footage showed them entering their room the previous night and not coming back out, police said. When they hadn’t received a response by Saturday, hotel staff entered the room and found the women unresponsive.

The cause of their death has not been confirmed, but first responders said they found the women with froth on their mouths, suggesting a possible drug overdose — and possibly 20 hours before.

“The police did a thorough search of the scene, along with the pathologists and scenes of crime. There was nothing of substance that could have been found other than alcohol and some gummies,” Police Commissioner Chester Williams said, according to Channel 5 Belize.

“We’re not saying at this time that the gummies caused death, but we’re looking at every possibility,” he added.

Police are investigating whether the women brought the gummies into the country or purchased them locally.

“We’re trying to do as best as we can, including to see where they may have gone on Thursday before they went home, what if anything they consumed. All these things we’re looking at,” Williams said.

Williams noted that “based on what the pathologist said when he visited on Saturday evening, they could have been dead 20 hours prior.”

Police said there were no signs of forced entry or visible injuries on the women. Officers found snacks, liquids, vapes and other electronic devices in the room.

Online fundraisers for each woman had raised over $25,000 by Tuesday morning to help bring their bodies back to the US and cover their funerals.
