Spencer Pratt is clearing the air about his drama with “Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alex Cooper.
“If I could go back in time after pulling up on her at a restaurant — which she was not very happy about and I did apologize,” Pratt, 41, admitted in Us Weekly’s exclusive clip from this week’s episode of Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast. “I said, ‘I’m sorry I was so emotional.’ You know, I probably could have handled it better.”
Pratt did say, however, that he was under a lot of stress after the house he shared with wife Heidi Montag burned down in the L.A. fires earlier this year.
“You know my personality enough to where it’s like you better send a new white flag text before this is going. It’s very clear how I am online right now in this manic state, so I’m not surprised I went that way,” Pratt said. “If I could go back, I probably would have done the same thing, but I would have tried to explain my emotions better and articulate.”
Pratt said that it seems things are fine between him and Cooper, 30, revealing that she sat down with Montag, 38, for an emotional conversation.
“Heidi and her are definitely cool,” he said. “I’m cool too with her, but I’m just saying, I didn’t get sent an Unwell Hydration drink package.”
Pratt revealed during a January TikTok Live that he and Cooper “have beef” after he asked the podcast host to “post” a song from Montag’s 2010 Superficial album on social media. Montag’s album topped the charts following the loss of their L.A. home.
Pratt said during the same “Not Skinny But Not Fat” clip that Cooper did eventually share the song.
“By the time she did it, I didn’t even see it because it was some slowed down version,” he said. “She ended up doing it eight TikToks after.”
Pratt further explained why he got so upset.
“When Alex Cooper first moved out to L.A., Heidi was one of her first podcasts out here,” he said. “I went on her podcast, I let her do the little skit where she just bashes me — that nobody actually watched — so just went along with it, pumped it up. When she started doing merch, she’d send us merch, we wore it all day long. … Big teammates.”
