Exes Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are putting their blended family first despite their breakup.
“Dump 4 ya 🤍,” Bloom, 48, captioned an Instagram carousel on Wednesday, July 9, sharing several photos with 14-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with Miranda Kerr, and 4-year-old daughter Daisy, whom he shares with Perry.
In one photo, Bloom and Perry, 40, reunited on a boat for sunset. Daisy, whose face was covered with a heart emoji sticker, sat on Bloom’s shoulders while the pop star held onto her arm. Bloom also had a hand wrapped around Flynn’s waist, who looked back at his younger sister.
Us Weekly broke the news last month that Bloom and Perry called off their engagement after nearly a decade together.
“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source exclusively told Us. “It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
Perry, who was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, and Bloom are now focused on raising their daughter.
“They are still very much in touch and coparenting Daisy together,” a second insider told Us. “Orlando brought Daisy to meet Katy on tour before heading to the Bezos’ wedding. It’s not messy between them. They aren’t making drastic changes for Daisy’s sake.”
Bloom attended Jeff Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sánchez in Italy solo, while Perry finished her Lifetimes Tour in Australia.
In a recent statement, reps for both Perry and Bloom emphasized that there is no lingering bad blood between the exes.
“Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” the pair’s spokespeople told Us this month. “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
Us also understands that Perry and Bloom mutually split at the beginning of the year.
The Lord of the Rings actor and the “Hot N Cold” singer were first linked in 2016 but broke up less than one year later. They rekindled their romance in 2018, and Bloom proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2019.
“We weren’t really in it from day one,” Perry said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in September 2024 about their initial breakup. “He was, in a way, because he had just done a time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was just like, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond.’”
