Joe Jonas may have just accidentally confirmed the return of Camp Rock.

Joe, 35, was asked to read the latest entry in the Notes app on his phone out loud during his “Hot Ones Versus” interview with brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas on Tuesday, August 12, and his response took his siblings by surprise.

“Read Camp Rock 3,” Joe said as Nick, 32, put his glass of water on the table and stared at the camera with a shocked expression on his face. Meanwhile, Kevin, 37, let out some nervous laughter.

“OK, that’s a pretty good one,” Kevin said.

The Jonas Brothers starred in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock as brothers Shane Gray (Joe), Nate Gray (Nick) and Jason Gray (Kevin), who formed the famous fictional band Connect 3. In the film, Shane, a troubled pop star, reluctantly takes on a position as a dance instructor at the titular Camp Rock to rehabilitate his image. However, his attitude about the camp changes when he overhears a camper (Mitchie Torres, played by Demi Lovato) singing and becomes determined to find her.

Joe, Nick, Kevin and Lovato, 32, returned for Camp Rock: The Final Jam in 2010. While Shane and Mitchie became onscreen love interests, Joe and Lovato also sparked a real-life romance, but the relationship was short-lived.

The Jonas Brothers and Lovato recently reunited on the opening night of the band’s JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday, August 10. They surprised fans by performing a medley of songs from the Camp Rock films, including “This Is Me,” “Gotta Find You” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”

“Thanks for having me @jonasbrothers 🫶,” Lovato captioned a clip of their performance shared via Instagram.

Lovato also gushed about the experience during her appearance on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast on Tuesday.

And like I said, it was so healing for me too. We’ve been through so much together, all of us, the Jonas Brothers and I. And it was really, really great to like, spend time with them. It was really cool.”

Lovato also said she was grateful that Joe, Nick and Kevin made sure to “spend time getting to know” her husband, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, who attended the concert on Sunday.

“And they just, you know, thanked me profusely for flying across the country to perform with them. And it was just so thoughtful,” she continued. “I felt so appreciated, and it was really healing for us. And I loved it, you know, every second of it was so great.”
