Sophie Turner Drops Jaws in Sheer Black Lace Knee-Length Dress After Clapping Back at Mom-Shamers

Sophie Turner knows how to make a fashion statement.

Turner, 29, gave fans a glimpse of her figure in a sheer black lace dress that exposed her undergarments while making an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday, August 14. For the show, she slayed in a lace number featuring a scoop neck, long sleeves and a fitted knee-length skirt. Underneath, the Game of Thrones actress wore a black bra and high-waisted panties.

Turner let the look speak for itself, opting for minimalistic accessories including open-toe heels. She added a pop of color to her look with a cherry red mani and pedi.

Turner added even more drama to her ensemble with smokey eyeshadow that blended to her brow bone. The rest of her eye makeup featured black eyeliner and long lashes. She complemented the edgy glam with bronzed cheeks and nude lips. Her platinum blonde hair was parted down the middle and styled in loose, beach waves.

Turner’s appearance in her sheer dress comes days after she clapped back at an internet troll who mom-shamed her. On August 4, the actress took to Instagram to share a fun moment she had with a friend while enjoying an Oasis concert in London.

While most fans praised Turner’s girls’ night out, one commented, “Lmfao I think she has forgotten that she has two kids,” on August 7. Turner saw the comment and quickly replied, “Ah, I’m so sorry, sometimes, I forget some people can’t think for themselves,” she wrote.

Turner continued, “So, get this … There’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.”

Turner shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with ex-husband Joe Jonas. The couple tied the knot in 2019 and split in 2023. After a messy court battle, the parents agreed to share custody of their little ones and allow them to travel between London, Turner’s native, and New Jersey, where Jonas resides.
