Where Is ‘Practical Magic 2’ Being Filmed? Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman Sequel Location Revealed

Practical Magic 2 is in the works, and fans of the original film cannot wait to see Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman make magic together on screen again.

The film’s shooting location has already sparked curiosity among fans, after a clip of Bullock and Kidman filming in a cemetery was shared via Kidman’s Instagram account in July 2025. In the video, which garnered over 600,000 likes, the beloved acting duo warmly embraced after stepping back into their roles as the Owens sisters.

The plot of Practical Magic 2 has largely been kept under wraps, but we can assume the sequel will bring Us plenty of laughs, surprises and spellbinding scenes.

“Yes, I will be in it. And Sandy will be in it. And that’s that,” Kidman told People in June 2024 of the upcoming film. “There’s a lot more to tell which is why we go, ‘OK, this is kind of interesting now to be able to do this.’ [We] found a way in.”

Practical Magic 2’s Filming Location Has Been Revealed

Practical Magic 2 is being filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in England. Additional scenes are being shot at various locations around London.

Bullock was seen filming with Dianne Weist, who will be returning to play Bridget “Jet” Owens, in London in August 2025. An eyewitness detailed his account of seeing the A-listers shoot their scenes together.

“It was a pinch me moment to see THE Sandra Bullock, and of course Dianne Weist, outside my door on a Monday morning,” eyewitness Scott Da Silva-Wells told Hello! Magazine that same month. “It was amazing to see her in action, and she even greeted some fans who were standing by her trailer with a big smile and a wave.”

The upcoming movie is directed by Susanne Bier. (Griffin Dunne directed the original 1998 fantasy film based on Alice Hoffman’s 1995 book of the same name.)

Kidman’s viral Instagram teaser revealed she was on set with Bullock. Kidman wore a red lacy dress and nude shoes, while Bullock wore a boho dress with a lace waistline.

“The witches are back ✨ Owens sisters’ first day on set! #PracticalMagic,” Kidman captioned the post.

Many fans of the original took to the comments to express curiosity over why Kidman and Bullock were filming in a cemetery in front of two graves.

“Hey. Why is there two graves?HEY! WHY IS THERE TWO GRAVES!?” one person asked, to which someone else replied, “Maybe their parents or Sally’s late husband, Michael?”

“Maybe their parents?” a third person suggested.
