A popular waterfront restaurant and six boats were engulfed in flames after a fast-moving fire ripped through a Long Island marina, fueled by Hurricane Erin.

The fire erupted around 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Crabby Amy’s Clam and Oyster Bar at the Treasure Island Marina in Seaford, quickly spreading to docked boats, destroying at least four of them, according to fire officials.

Dramatic video from the scene shows firefighters frantically trying to douse the flames on the restaurant’s deck while a fireboat hosed the enflamed boats from the water.

Officials believe it was sparked by surging tides from the offshore hurricane that pushed water into the electrical components of the building. Heavy winds then fueled and rapidly spread the fire, the Wantagh Fire Department said.

“It appears to be non-suspicious, electrical in nature. The fire marshal said they’re looking at the possibility that the high tides may have, you know, put some water into the structure and may have caused the fire,” Wantagh Fire Department Public Information Officer Kevin Regan told The Post.

At least six boats docked at the restaurant were damaged, including two that floated loose and had to be towed back to shore, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Four of the boats were total losses, Regan said. The fire was totally out by 11:30 p.m. — around two hours after it started — and there were no injuries.

Only the charred skeleton of Crabby Amy’s was left standing after the fire, photos show. The restaurant owners said that they are devastated, but thanked customers for their support.

“Thankfully there were no employees or patrons present during the time of the fire and the main facilities of Treasure Island Marina were spared,” Crabby Amy’s Clam and Oyster Bar said in a statement posted to their social media Friday afternoon.

“We are unsure of what the future holds for our dear crab shack. What we do know is how thankful we are for the years we spent serving you.”

The Nassau County Fire Marshal’s Office is still investigating the fire.
