Zac Efron and Nina Dobrev Are All Smiles In Flirty Photos While Vacationing with Friends in Italy

Zac Efron and Nina Dobrev appear to be all smiles while vacationing with friends in Italy.

On Saturday, September 20, Deux Moi shared photos of Efron, 37, and Dobrev, 36, onboard a yacht, alongside Chase Crawford and Miles Teller and Kaleigh Teller. In one photo, the floral-dress-clad Vampire Diaries star looked especially cozy as she and Efron, sporting a white backwards cap and white button-up shirt, appeared to talk about something on her phone.

In another photo, both Efron and Debrov could be seen laughing together while facing forward.

The pair had been previously spotted on board the yacht alongside Crawford and the Tellers on Thursday, September 18. In photos shared online, Dobrev and Efron, clad in a plunging swimsuit and black swim trunks respectively, took turns swimming in the sea. Kaleigh Teller previously shared more photos of the group off the coast of Italy the same day.

Neither Efron or Debrov have publicly shared the nature of their relationship. Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for both for comment.

The outings come one week after Debrov and Shaun White ended their five-year relationship on September 11. In the days following their split, an insider told Us that infidelity did not play a role in the two ending their engagement.

“There was no cheating at all during the course of their five-and-a-half-year relationship,” the source shared. “They were very loyal to each other. Any online speculation that suggests otherwise is ridiculous.”

The same source also insisted White and Debrov were aligned when it came to wanting to having children. “They both wanted a family,” they added. “It wasn’t that one wanted it more than the other.”

The duo first sparked dating rumors in 2020 and confirmed their relationship in April of the same year.

In October 2021, White explained to Us how he and Debrov found a way to maintain their long-distance relationship.

“We have a nice little system of how to stay in touch,” he told Us at the time. “Plane tickets are pretty much booked for any opportunity that we can go see one another. So, I know during the holiday break, we’re going to meet up, and we’re going to meet up again probably around Christmas time. Anything that happens in between, then I’ll jet over and see her. You just make it work.”

White proposed to Debrov in October 2024. “Nina was totally surprised and they’re both wildly happy,” a source exclusively told Us at the time.
