Cardi B Addresses Past Stefon Diggs Split Rumors, Why She Deleted Him From Instagram

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs sparked split rumors earlier this year, but it was never that serious.

“I’m very dramatic,” Cardi, 32, said of removing pictures of her and Diggs during her Wednesday, September 24, appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “I’m dramatic. That’s the thing, something that to people is a big deal, to me is not a big deal at the moment.”

Cardi said she did not “fully delete” the photos, rather archiving them from her profile.

“It became something that it’s not,” the musician added. “But I’m very dramatic.”

Cardi said she “forgot” what happened that caused her to remove the pictures in the first place but thinks it was something “very stupid.” Cardi also shared Diggs’ reaction to the situation.

“He was like, ‘Why would you do that?’” she recalled. “That’s the type of thing that we laugh about because it’s like, ‘Why would you do that? See, now everybody’s saying that it’s because your ass [is] thick.’”

Rumors that Cardi was dating NFL star Diggs, 31, started swirling late last year after she filed for divorce from estranged husband Offset. Cardi took their relationship public this past June by sharing several photos of them together on social media. However, she sparked split speculation when she then removed the photos.

“There’s a rumor that, like, my boyfriend dumped me because my BBL stink, and it’s just like, the way this ass be getting eaten, it can’t be,” Cardi quipped elsewhere in the podcast. “I’m very anal about how I smell, you know what I’m saying? I don’t know who made the rumors that BBLs stink, but it’s like, it doesn’t f***ing stink.”

She continued, “How would a BBL stink if you … don’t got no open wounds? Why? Because your ass is fatter. You can’t clean a fat ass? You don’t know how to clean a fat ass? I do. And let me tell you something. If you get f***ed in the ass, I know how to do s*** too, don’t even play with me.”

Cardi said that she and Diggs were able to joke about this particular rumor.

“It’s like, be f***ing for real,” Cardi added.

Cardi recently confirmed that she and Diggs are expecting their first baby together, her fourth. The rapper already shares Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 12 months, with Offset, 33. Diggs, meanwhile, is the father of daughter Nova, 8.

“It’s almost like he always hit me up at the right time. He almost hit me up at the times that I feel uneasy. I be like, I don’t know if I should deal with this person because I know this person — he’s a little hot, but I’m going to talk.’ Then we had really good conversations,” Cardi said of the early days in her and Diggs’ romance. “There was days that it’s, even when we wasn’t talking, I was like, ‘I need to talk to this person because I’m talking to this person every day.’”
