This week, Hulu is very TV-heavy in its top 15 list, which only has a single movie on it. Everything else is a TV show.

And if you want to know how popular ABC’s High Potential is on Hulu, it’s the new No. 1 show over Alien: Earth, Only Murders in the Building and even Jimmy Kimmel Live.

That’s why Watch With Us selected High Potential to lead off this week’s selections for Hulu’s popular movies and TV shows you can binge-watch now.

You can find that series and the rest of our picks below.

Hulu is a great streaming home for every genre — comedy, drama, romance, fantasy and more — but in September 2025, we’re highlighting two fantastic sci-fi series on the platform. The brand-new show from Noah Hawley, Alien: Earth, is currently streaming on Hulu, but we’re also throwing it back to the early 2000s with a superhero […]

‘High Potential’ (2024 – Present)

Kaitlin Olson is still moonlighting from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia while also starring in ABC’s High Potential. Given the show’s No. 1 status on Hulu, it’s probably going to have a lengthy run. High Potential follows Morgan Gillory (Olson), a former cleaning lady for the LAPD whose near-genius intellect earns her a place as a civilian consultant on several of the department’s most difficult cases.

Season 2 picks up with Morgan and her children under threat from a serial kidnapper who goes by the Game Maker (David Giuntoli). Morgan also remains committed to the promise she made to her oldest daughter, Ava (Amirah J), to find her long-missing ex-husband, Roman. But with the Game Maker around, any potential family reunion will have to be put on hold.

‘The Lowdown’ (2025)

Ethan Hawke looks like he’s having the time of his life playing Lee Raybon in FX’s new series The Lowdown. Can you blame him? There aren’t a lot of TV series that let the lead actor go for broad comedy without sacrificing dramatic stakes or even potential danger to the main character and his family.

Lee is a self-appointed citizen journalist who has made it his life’s work to expose the racist underbelly of Tulsa, Oklahoma. This time, he may really be on to something. A man named Dale Washberg (Tim Blake Nelson) died under very suspicious circumstances, and Lee suspects that Dale’s brother, Donald Washberg (Kyle MacLachlan), has ties to white supremacist groups. Since Donald is running for governor, the stakes are higher than ever for Lee. His new enemies are also more than willing to kill him if he gets too close to the truth.

‘Swiped’ (2025)

Among social media movies, Swiped is The Social Network of dating app biopics. Granted, there haven’t been many of those yet, but give it time. Downton Abbey and Pam & Tommy star Lily James leads the way as Whitney Wolfe Herd, a key player in the development of two of the most successful dating apps.

Whitney manages to break into the male-dominated tech space when she goes to work for Justin Mateen (Jackson White) and Sean Rad (Ben Schnetzer), the cofounders of Tinder. When those men let her down, Whitney gets another chance to start a dating app, and she brings it together as Bumble. But catching lightning in a bottle twice is never easy, and Whitney may have to pay a high price both personally and professionally.
