Influencer Tianna Robillard is shedding more light on her broken engagement with NFL player Cody Ford.

“I got [fan] messages like, ‘Girl we all know these men do this. Why wouldn’t you just stay for whatever?’ Dude, I’m in this for love,” Robillard, 29, said on the Sunday, October 19, episode of the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast. “We’re all put on this Earth for love, like, I was not going to stay in something that didn’t serve me.”

Cincinnati Bengals offensive guard Ford, 28, proposed to Robillard in April 2024 after two years of dating. Robillard announced their breakup via TikTok just two months later.

“I was terrified at first,” she recalled of being newly single. “I had my old beater [car] still, thank God, and I lived with [him]. I was like, ‘Where am I going to go and what am I going to do?’ Went back to what I was comfortable with, got my bearings. I think, in those moments, people thought I was going to stay in something that was not [right.] I didn’t care how scared I was, I didn’t care where I was going to go.”

Robillard quickly packed up her belongings and left for a friend’s house, even leaving her diamond engagement ring behind.

“On the record, I wish I would have kept that s***,” Robillard said, noting Ford didn’t ask for the rock back when they broke up. “We had little bowls that were engraved ’T’ and whatever the f*** [his said] and I left both of them on the counter, put my ring in there. I didn’t even want [anything] from this man — and I didn’t need nothing from this man, and I left the ring.”

Robillard further joked that Ford can’t give the ring to a future partner because it had an “engraved f***ing nickname” inside the band.

“Good f***ing luck,” she quipped, before getting emotional about leaving their shared pets behind. “The can of worms I’ve had yet to open is the dogs, like, I can’t even look at my camera roll. I left two little chewy toys with a note that said something like, ‘Here’s your f***ing ring, thanks for nothing.’”

Robillard later moved on with fellow influencer Adrien Nuñez after meeting through social media.

“I met Adrien a year ago,” she recalled on Sunday’s episode. “Adrien had a cornhole set that was Bengals gear. He did something with Amazon Prime Day and needed to pick a team, [and said in a video], ‘I guess love’s not real’ and crushed his Bengals board in a video.”

The video, a response to Robillard and Ford’s breakup, eventually got her attention.

Robillard and Nuñez, 26, soon started exchanging DMs before meeting in person during New York Fashion Week.
