New shocking video shows the moment a former mayor was stabbed during an altercation outside his Massachusetts cannabis dispensary.

Will Flanagan, a single-term mayor in Fall River, Massachusetts, was found writhing with stab wounds to his neck and rushed to a nearby hospital in a serious but stable condition Monday evening.

Horrific surveillance video shows the suspect, Corree Gonzales, run up behind Flanagan before making striking motions toward his head and neck, WCVB reported.

Flanagan is seen throwing up his hands to protect himself before falling to the ground, before Gonzales runs away, crosses the street and leaves the former Democratic politician bleeding on the sidewalk.

Gonzales, 31, was arrested Tuesday after being detained in connection with the attack, which took place near the Cosmopolitan Dispensary, a marijuana business owned by Flanagan.
