She didn’t wear her rock. But they’re not on the rocks.

Vice President JD Vance insisted Friday that his marriage to Usha is “as strong as it’s ever been” after the second lady appeared at an event without her wedding ring last month.

Vance addressed rumors that their relationship is in jeopardy — calling it so far-fetched that the couple actually laughs about it.

“I think that we kind of get a kick out of it,” Vance said in an interview with NBC News.

“With anything in life, you take the good with the bad,” he told the station from his West Wing office.

“You accept that there are some sacrifices and there are some very good things that come along with it, too. But our marriage is as strong as it’s ever been.”

Despite becoming fodder for sometimes-wild headlines, Usha, 39, has grown to like her role in the spotlight, he said.

“I think Usha’s really taken to it, and it’s been kind of cool to see how she’s developed and evolved in this new role,” said Vance.

Rumors began to swirl online after the second lady didn’t wear her wedding ring during a visit to Camp Lejeune, a military training facility in Jacksonville, North Carolina, on Nov. 19.

“No ring and she looks happy, almost relieved. Like a weight has been lifted,” one snarky commenter wrote on X.

A spokesperson for Usha was later forced to explain the reason behind her bare left ring finger.

“[She’s] a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes,” the rep said.

The couple has been married since 2014 and have three kids: Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
