The show will still go on for Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show — but not as originally planned.

“UPDATE: Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to stream The All-American Halftime Show on X,” the organization announced via X on Sunday, February 8, just hours before the performance. “Head on over to our YouTube channel tonight around 8PM ET to watch the full show.”

Turning Point USA, the right-wing conservative organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk, announced in October 2025 that they would be hosting their own halftime show during Super Bowl 2026, which would be rooted in “faith, family and freedom.” However, the performance has found itself rooted in controversy.

While the actual Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California will have Bad Bunny taking the stage, Turning Point USA will have a range of artists performing at about the same time. Sunday’s lineup will feature Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.

Kid Rock, 55, has spoken out about his appearance at the Turning Point USA halftime show in a statement released earlier this month.

“We plan to play great songs for folks who love America,” the singer shared. “We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath. Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible … or is it?”

The 2026 Super Bowl halftime show has become a lightning rod in America’s ongoing culture war. The conservative activist group Turning Point USA is jumping feet first into the fray by running its own alternative halftime show, which will be called the All-American Halftime Show. It’s not the first time in Super Bowl history that […]

Kid Rock also addressed Bad Bunny’s impending performance as he continued.

“[Bad Bunny] said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress and singing in Spanish?” he said. “Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”

The September 2025 announcement that Bad Bunny would be headlining this year’s Super Bowl halftime show has received plenty of backlash with the Puerto Riccan singer staying unbothered.

“I’m very excited to be doing the Super Bowl and I know people all around the world who love my music are also happy,” Bad Bunny joked during his Saturday Night Live hosting gig in October 2025. “If you didn’t understand now what I just said, you have four months to learn!”

After Kid Rock scored a headlining gig at Turning Point USA’s alternative 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, his 2001 song “Cool, Daddy Cool” resurfaced — and is raising a whole new set of eyebrows. “Wonder if Kid Rock will sing ‘Cool Daddy Cool?’” one social media user tweeted on Wednesday, February 4. “Will Kid Rock […]

Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk, who took over the role following husband Charlie’s death in September 2025, has said the All-American Halftime Show will serve as a reminder of her husband’s memory.

“It’s powerful because what Charlie always loved and knew is that he wanted to be in the forefront of the culture war,” she told Fox News in an interview published earlier this month. “He would be fist-pumping at this. He would be so stoked. And what better way to honor him than to just get in the middle of this and be able to offer an alternative to families.”

Erika noted that Turning Point USA and their programs are “holistic,” adding “it’s for the entire home.”

“It’s of every age, and so for us to be able to provide an alternative that is pro-America, that is just pro-everything, that’s not the opposite of what they’re putting out there,” she added. “I don’t want to go into details and bash that because there is apparently an audience that wants that, but there’s a larger audience that wants ours.”
