With the nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards officially announced, it’s time to shine a light on the best of Broadway.
Darren Criss and Uzo Aduba revealed the list of nominees for the 79th annual awards show on Tuesday, May 5.
In just one month, the 2026 Tony Awards will be held at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7. The ceremony will be broadcast live to both the East and West Coast on CBS and Paramount+.
Pink will make her Tonys hosting debut during the event, taking over the role from last year’s host, Cynthia Erivo.
“It is the honor of an entire lifetime to host a night celebrating the literal hardest working people in showbiz,” Pink, 46, said in an April press release. “Broadway has shaped my life and how I put my own shows together — it is a community that is supportive, and inclusive, and full of talent and love. These people give magic every single day, and I cannot wait to celebrate them with the entire world.”
She continued, “When I was asked to host the Tonys, I immediately thought, ‘I have to get permission from my daughter [Willow, 15].’ I’ve never been on Broadway, and shouldn’t you have to have been on Broadway in order to host? That seems fair and right. But when I asked my daughter, she was really excited about being able to have a ticket to go to the Tonys, so I’m hosting the Tonys and I’m really, really excited and very nervous because that girl is a tough crowd!”
The 79th annual Tony Awards will air on CBS and Paramount+ Sunday, June 7, at 8 p.m. ET. Keep scrolling to see the complete list of this year’s Tony nominees:
