Add “influencer” to Karoline Leavitt’s resumé.

The former White House press secretary took to Instagram earlier today to chat directly with her 3.1 million followers in a casual “Ask Me Anything” format, dishing on everything from romantic advice to being a woman in an age-gap relationship to President Trump’s true personality.

“I am traveling all day so I have some time on my hands…ask away!” Leavitt, who will join Fox News as an on-air contributor on November 1, wrote in a post. She answered the asks with a mix of short written and video responses.

The first write-in was from a clear fan who had “always looked up to” Leavitt, sharing that they were a current university student studying public relations and politics. The follower asked Leavitt, who made history as the youngest-ever White House press secretary, if she had any advice.

“My advice to people who want to get into politics or comms is to get real-world experience when you’re in college,” Leavitt said, explaining that while she found classroom instruction valuable, she felt the workplace is “where you’re really going to learn the game.”

Leavitt also pointed to her own wide variety of college jobs, including interning at NBC Sports Boston, working at her local news station and eventually snagging her career-shaping internship at the Office of Presidential Correspondence during Trump’s first term.

The former press secretary — who stepped down in late August to spend more time with her two young children — went on to answer more personal questions.

What does she do in her free time?

“I don’t have [it],” she quipped.

Will she ever post a “Get Ready With Me” makeup routine?

“Yes I will do this, people have been asking!”

Can we expect to see her as a voter in her native New Hampshire?

“Of course!…It’s the chance to make your voices heard.”

But the real tea came when Leavitt dished about the President after someone asked, “Is Trump nice/kind?”

“Yes! He’s the best boss,” Leavitt gushed, posting her answer across a photo with the Commander in Chief, in which he flashes a big thumbs-up.

“People don’t see this side of him because the media doesn’t show it, but he has been nothing but kind and uplifting to me, even since departing,” she continued. “He’s also hilarious. Love him!”

Leavitt went on to advise “girls in age-gap relationships” — Leavitt’s own husband, Nicholas Riccio, is 32 years her senior.

“Forget the haters and follow your heart!” Leavitt advised her fans, sharing a picture with her real-estate developer spouse, whom she met in 2022 during her New Hampshire congressional campaign. (She lost the general election to Chris Pappas.)

They had their first child in 2024 and married in 2025. “He’s the absolute best husband and dad in the world. Everyone gets why we are together when they actually meet him and see us together.”

Leavitt then answered a few more fun questions, like why she hides her children’s faces in photos (“I wish I didn’t feel the need to do this because my kids are so dang cute… I feel it’s the right thing to do to protect their innocence,” the mom of two said) and spilling on her favorite clothing brands (“Ralph Lauren, Veronica Beard… And who doesn’t love a good TJ Maxx?!”).

She finished her Instagram story by addressing why she left her beloved gig at the White House press podium if she wasn’t planning on leaving the workforce altogether.

Leavitt kicked off her response with an eye-roll emoji.

“As Press Sec, I was working in the office 60+ hours a week, traveling the world, and always on call 24/7,” Leavitt said.

“Now, I am home with my kids every day and doing some TV hits. These things are not the same, ma’am.”
