An immigrant sex worker may have wanted to expose Bryon Noem’s double life as a cross-dressing fetishist as payback for his former DHS chief wife’s enforcement of President Trump’s immigration crackdown, according to a White House reporter.
Marc Caputo of Axios revealed in the wake of the shocking scandal that a source tipped him off in February with a “weird lead” about Bryon Noem, purportedly coming from a sex worker – possibly in the US illegally – who claimed South Dakota’s former first gentleman made use of her services online.
He said he didn’t pursue the lead because he couldn’t land an interview with the accuser and was therefore unable to verify the allegations.
“When we use anonymous sources: they’re credible. Sometimes, it means someone else gets the story,” he wrote on X.
The bombshell revelation about Bryon Noem’s unusual sexual escapades came to light after the Daily Mail published messages and photos he allegedly exchanged with women from the “bimbofication” fetish community.
Participants in the niche body modification subculture often increase the size of their breasts to oversized proportions seeking a “Barbie doll”-like appearance.
Byron Noem sent several photos to online models in which he was wearing a flesh-colored crop-top stuffed with inflated balloons made to resemble massive breasts, and also allegedly sent some of the women tens of thousands of dollars while his wife was running DHS.

A webcam model on the website CamSoda, who uses the stage name Lydia Love, told the Times of London that she “definitely” remembers Noem’s face as a regular client, but said his other assets were what stuck in her memory.

“There’s no way I could ever forget the fake boobs,” she said, adding that he liked to play the submissive role in their spicy chats, enjoyed speaking in a feminine voice and had a “kink” for yoga pants.
She said he paid her and other models up to $25 per minute for the raunchy conversations.
National security experts theorized that the embarrassing photos could have left Kristi Noem open to blackmail if they wound up in the hands of foreign intelligence services.
Noem – whom Trump fired as head of DHS last month – said in a statement to The Post that she was “devastated” to learn of her husband’s predilections, and that the entire family was “blindsided” by the news.
The couple, who have been married since 1992, have three grown children together.
