Ashley Hebert found love with J.P. Rosenbaum on season 7 of The Bachelorette — but their marriage wasn’t meant to be.
“I know I have to take a leap of faith. All the time that we spent together, it’s been the happiest time of my life,” Rosenbaum said before getting down on one knee during the 2011 finale. “All I know is that I’m madly in love with you. I love everything about you.”
The reality TV couple wed in 2012 and went on to welcome two children: son Ford and daughter Essie. In October 2020, Rosenbaum and Hebert announced they were getting divorced.
Despite their split, Rosenbaum told Us Weekly in April 2022 that he and Hebert should be considered a Bachelor Nation success story. “We were together, I mean, nine years, 10 years, whatever it was,” he shared. “And we got two amazing, amazing children out of it. I wouldn’t change anything, obviously.”
