It’s a bad sign when fans are going back to their tailgates at halftime. That’s essentially what happened Sunday at MetLife Stadium. The Giants were the Rams’ doormat. L.A. walked all over Big Blue in their own building, 38-11. It felt like even more of a bloodbath than that. After a competitive first quarter, the Giants fell apart. They are now 1-5 and their season continues getting uglier by the second.
To talk about Sunday’s disaster and the 10-year Super Bowl anniversary halftime ceremony, we host our first “Blue Rush” LIVE! podcast following the game from the Victory Sports Bar next to MetLife Stadium with Lawrence Tynes and Paul Schwartz.
Blue Rush LIVE! Podcast with Paul, Lawrence, Jake & Sarah:
- LIVE POD: We record the show live from the Victory Sports Bar next to MetLife Stadium right by the sportsbook. That was as bad of a Giants loss as it gets. The team looked like it quit in the second half. Should Daniel Jones have come out in the second half? Why not put Mike Glennon in? Should Jones even started the game after the concussion last week?
- TYNES’ TAKES: His teammates from 2011 team there are almost numb to the losing. This franchise has not won in a long time and it’s frustrating to watch. When the team loses, everyone in the organization loses from top to bottom. Joe Judge is going to have some tough questions to answer.
- 2011 TEAM: The ceremony at halftime was great. Lawrence loved being back at the stadium. Tom Coughlin was a tremendous coach and made a great speech. Unfortunately for the fans, the ceremony was the best part of the day and many left the game after that. Tynes answers some questions from fans in the crowd and we do trivia for free Post Sports+ hats.
