The Biggest Loser alum Bob Harper “formed this bond” with The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice while she was in prison.
“Can I tell this story really quickly?” Harper, 59, asked Andy Cohen during his Watch What Happens Live appearance on Tuesday, January 28. “You reached out to me saying, ‘Teresa’s in prison and she really likes your workout DVDs.’ So, I had all my workout DVDs sent to Teresa.”
Giudice, 52, spent 11 months in the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut after being convicted on fraud charges in 2015. Years after her release, both Harper and Giudice appeared on an episode of WWHL together in 2020.
“All of a sudden Teresa and I became friends,” Harper explained during Tuesday’s talk show appearance. “She’s like, ‘I’m inviting you to my wedding.’ I was like, ‘I’m absolutely going to this wedding.’”
Giudice married Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August 2022, and Harper wasn’t the only reality star in attendance. The Biggest Loser alum said that he met fellow RHONJ star Dolores Catania at the nuptials — way before they starred on Traitors together. (Chanel Ayan and Dorinda Medley were also at the wedding, and took part in Traitors season 3.)
“Out of everyone on Traitors, Dolores is … she’s my ride or die,” Harper said on Tuesday. “I love her. I met her at Teresa’s wedding. She and I were just, we sat side by side at the roundtable. I have nothing but love for her. She’s perfect.”
Both Catania, 54, and Harper are currently two Faithfuls on Peacock’s Traitors, which premiered earlier this month. Catania previously told Us Weekly exclusively that she was a huge fan of the show before she started sniffing out Traitors.
“I started watching it [past seasons] and I went crazy for it,” Catania explained in September 2024. “It was the best experience.”
The Bravo star explained how it was “different” than RHONJ, however.
“It takes you away from everything and then you get there and the game becomes your life,” Catania continued. “And it was nice to get away from what I was involved with at the time — a lot of the fighting and craziness.”’While filming Traitors, contestants don’t have access to their phones — something that was a huge plus for Catania.
“I had a lot of alone time, a lot of self-reflection and a lot of thinking,” she added.
New episodes of The Traitors will be released on Peacock Thursdays until March 6.
