Jets fans had a relaxing week. You could even call it a victory. No game means no stress, no frustrations and watching a whole lot of former Jets around the NFL. Some have been good, some have been bad and one of them is helping their draft stock in Geno Smith. The Jets will reset this week and look to pick up their second victory when they take on the 2-4 Patriots in Foxborough. Oddly enough, with a win the Jets would be in second place in what has not been a good AFC East after the Bills.
To preview their matchup with the Patriots and have a fun conversation with Jets running back Ty Johnson, we bring you a new episode of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast with me and Brian Costello. Can Gang Green win their first game in Foxborough since the playoffs in 2011?

- BYE WEEK: Watching so many former Jets around the NFL on the bye week. Robby Anderson has not been very good. Sam Darnold is back to the QB we saw with the Jets in his past few games. Geno Smith, temporarily starting in Seattle, is helping the Jets in the draft with them owning the Seahawks’ pick.
- TRADE DEADLINE: With the trade deadline under two weeks away, will the Jets make moves? Coz can see them potentially trading guys like Jamison Crowder and Marcus Maye. Maybe the Jets get a tight end or cornerback if there is someone out there that would help them beyond this season.
- JETS-PATRIOTS PREVIEW/PREDICTIONS: This is not your mom and pop’s Patriots, but they are still better than the Jets. We both think the Patriots pull this game out, but the Jets could make it interesting. Coz also talks about going to Foxborough and the lack of food options or things to do besides Patriot Place.

Jets running back
- SCORING: Emphasis has been on scoring quicker and faster starts. Dynamic with running backs has been great. Nobody has an ego.
- SALEH: Best coach he’s ever had. Wants to run through a brick wall for him.
- WILSON: 100% have confidence in him. He asked running backs to work on stuff with him after practice. He wants to improve.
- COOKING: Loves to cook and makes a mean salmon with linguine. Still needs to try good NY pizza and do more food exploring in NYC.
