Chrishell Stause dished on what’s to come during season 9 of Selling Sunset — and vowed fans won’t have to wait for long to see it unfold.

“It definitely starts [off] very explosive,” Chrishell, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly of the upcoming season on Monday, March 10, while promoting her partnership with Violife for its Creamy Confessions campaign.

The reality star revealed that season 9 “just wrapped” and, unlike years past, she claimed the turnaround will be quick.

“It is gonna come out sooner than, at least I thought, in our normal cycle,” Chrishell explained. “Normally it comes out around November. I do know that it’s coming out sooner than what I thought, so it won’t be too long.”

Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young‘s feud made for great TV but now their issues are affecting the production of Netflix’s Selling Sunset. Selling Sunset, which debuted in 2019, follows employees at high-end Los Angeles real estate brokerage the Oppenheim Group. The Netflix series boasts expensive homes, but it is the drama between the cast that […]

When it comes to the stories fans will watch unfold this season, Chrishell told Us the cameras “pick up exactly where we left off,” calling it “satisfying for people watching.”

She teased, “With story lines that were left a little open-ended … you’re definitely going to get a lot of resolution.”

Chrishell didn’t give any further details about the plot, but many fans are hoping the tension between her and Nicole Young will be explored further when season 9 premieres.

Chrishell and Nicole, 38, have been feuding since season 6, when Nicole claimed Chrishell only got real estate listings because their boss Jason Oppenheim had a crush on her. (Chrishell and Jason dated for several months in 2021.)

Chrishell denied the allegations and proceeded to stir the pot, claiming at a group dinner that Nicole was on drugs. Nicole denied the accusations.

The TV personalities continued to butt heads during season 7 after Nicole brought up rumors that their costar Emma Hernan was allegedly sleeping with a married man. At the time, Chrishell slammed Nicole for allegedly spreading false statements about Emma, 33.

Nicole allegedly got into a fight with other members of the Oppenheim team during a cast dinner that was filmed in November 2024. According to TMZ, Nicole then filmed a scene with Jason, 47, where he advised her to take a pause from the office.

Earlier this year, Nicole said she was not cut from the cast for season 9, but her future on the show was still up in the air.

“I had a call with production two days ago during which they told me I have absolutely not been fired from the cast, but they chose to pause my filming schedule until next week in order to protect me from situations on set that had become very contentious,” Nicole told Us in a January statement. “I’m still debating whether or not I want to continue filming in this kind of environment, especially with so many infuriating double standards.”

She added: “Selling Sunset has been a great opportunity and a wild ride, but it is not my life or identity. I have a big, beautiful life outside of the show … and thankfully in the real world, my life and personality can’t be edited or misconstrued to portray me negatively to fit into a produced story line.”

As fans wait to see what happens on Selling Sunset, Chrishell is keeping busy. The actress recently partnered with Violife for its Creamy Confessions campaign, which celebrates those “flirting with quitting dairy.”

Violife’s new dairy free coffee creamer is made with a lentil protein formula for an ultra-creamy creation that is ideal for coffee lovers. Chrishell, meanwhile, exclusively told Us that it is the perfect creamer for her lifestyle.

“I’ve actually gone dairy free a long time ago and that part was easy because I love the sustainability of everything,” Chrishell said, noting it’s been a bit of “trial and error” experience when finding the “right” creamer that is also dairy free.
