On Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, Venus, our planet of attraction and attachment, leaves the finicky fields of Virgo for the love-drunk, sweet-stoned punch bowl of Libra.

“When Venus enters the sign of Libra, cuffing season sentiments arrive earlier than expected as the need for harmony and partnership bliss becomes center stage and front of mind,” the brilliant astrologer Babs Cheung told The Post.

Named for the goddess of love, Venus changes signs every 20 to 45 days, or about once every three weeks. As an inner planet, Venus transits have an evident, immediate impact on us Earthlings. Venusian transits influence our collective approach to love, pleasure, aesthetics, and our relationship to earning and spending money.

Cheung explained that in the Venus-ruled sign of Libra, the planet of attraction, “shifts values from a pragmatic ‘looks good on paper’ and ‘checks all the boxes’ approach to love to a more romanticized appeal to the heart.”

Think flights of fancy versus sound judgment, a bit of a roll in the honey-tongued clowns and see-who-could-be-a-contender MO.

“This transit brings a ‘date like a virgin’ energy and with it the naïveté, the flutters, the sweaty palms, and the giddiness that makes every glance and touch feel electric. Even seasoned lovers may feel their hearts skip a beat.”

Read on to see how your sign will be affected by this transit, as well as Cheung’s pick for the best themed date to stoke the fire of communion.

“Time to hang up your cleats Aries because Venus’ entry into your seventh house of relationships will have you go from playing the field to voluntarily benching yourself in the name of love,” said Cheung.

She shared that even for rams who don’t consider themselves “romantic types,” this Venus transit could stir up a powerful curiosity about partnership.

“Songs seem sweeter, your mind drifts toward daydreams of someone who feels like forever, and small gestures: a smile, a text, a lingering glance suddenly carry more weight.”

Date idea: As no amount of sweet can cut the competitive streak in an Aries, Cheung recommends spending a date night at a cooking class where skills are honed, and a shared plate is a shared goal.

Venus in its home turf of Libra activates your sixth house of ritual, routine and body as temple, Taurus

“Taking moments to romanticize your everyday routines works well to reduce stress, fine lines and wrinkles. But be careful, bull: your rose colored glasses could be your downfall, so make sure you have a high standard fire sign handy to save you from agreeing to a date that is less than your usual standard just because you’re feeling so good about yourself.”

Date idea: As Venus is your ruler and pleasure is your principle, Cheung recommends a romantic picnic where basking and feasting are the primary points of interest.

It’s a fine time to be a Gemini as Venus in a fellow air sign activates your fifth house of pleasure, delight and unabashed romance.

“Geminis will indulge in the schmaltz,” promised Cheung, “While nearly all signs will be subjected to the early onset of cuffing season sentiments, single Geminis might find themselves in their own version of the ‘Bachelor’/’Bachelorette.’ For taken Geminis, they get to star in their very own rom-coms this fall.”

Date idea: To stimulate the senses and encourage public hooking up, Cheung recommends a museum or escape room.

Venus in Libra lights the lamps in your fourth house of home and root systems, Cancer — a summons to lean close and stay in.

“You may find yourself craving more intentional time with family, partners, or the people who know your softest sides. If partnered, nurture the bond by creating a sanctuary together. If single, lean into the warmth of chosen family and watch how comfort naturally opens the door to romance,” said Cheung.

Date idea: Cheung recommends elevating the standard Netflix and chill drill with a planned menu and a home-cooked meal.

For those that love a theme, consider pairing your menu with a complimentary film: homemade bolognese and canolis with “The Godfather,” burgers and milkshakes with “Pulp Fiction,” ramen with “Tampopo,” and French pastries, garter belts, Champagne and ennui with “Marie Antoinette.’

“Leo, it’s safe to tell the people you love how you feel. Venus in Libra highlights your third house of communication, giving your words extra charm and magnetism. The compliments you’ve been holding back? Say them. The affection you’ve been hinting at? Spell it out,” said Cheung.

“The more you speak from your heart, the more others lean in to listen,” she assures the heart-ruled lion pride. “If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to open a dialogue about love, consider this your moment.”

Date idea: In the spirit of active expression, Cheung recommends a live performance where you and your partner can witness and be witnessed.

According to Cheung, when it comes to love, audit hour is nigh for Virgos

“Venus in Libra highlights your second house of values, reminding you that romance isn’t just about chemistry, Virgo — it’s about alignment. Who truly invests in you, not just with words but with actions? Who makes you feel richer, steadier, more seen? You’re running the numbers now, and superficial gestures won’t cut it.”

Date idea: As Virgo is a tactile earth sign that gets high on task completion, Cheung suggests a couple’s pottery class. Get your “Ghost” on, and then get it on, if you will.

Venus in Libra activates your first house of identity, amplifying your personal magnetism.

“All eyes are on you, whether you enjoy the spotlight or not. Consider this your green light to finally go for bangs or that wolf cut you’ve been eyeing, as a glow up is all but cosmically sanctioned for you right now.”

Date idea: As you’ll have an army of admirers, new and established, Cheung recommends keeping it light with a coffee date.

“When Venus enters Libra and your 12th house of shadow work and integration, Scorpio, you’re in for one helluva a time,” said Cheung.

She shared that this transit will bring to light and to the forefront long-forgotten feelings, old loves and buried taboos.

If it sounds a bit eek, Cheung assures, “This is clarity disguised as chaos, and you’re being asked to integrate what’s been buried and transform it into wisdom. For couples, intimacy deepens when you share your secrets. For singles, attraction may arrive in fated ways.”

Date idea: Cheung recommends taking your partner or love interest to a hole-in-the-wall. In a space that feels like a secret, you might be surprised what you’re willing to share.

For Sagittarius, Venus’s move into Libra activates their 11th house of utopian ideals, community, social networks and collective energy.

“Love and opportunity alike arrive through the people you know. Invitations pile up, connections sparkle, and friends may play matchmaker. If single, this is prime time for meeting someone in group settings. If partnered, shared social adventures can reignite excitement,” said Cheung.

Date idea: For archers, there’s nothing more erotic than the thrill of the open road. In kind, Cheung recommends a spontaneous road trip to explore how a partner responds to your free-wheeling antics.

Praise be, Capricorn: Venus in your 10th house of legacy and career shines a love light on your work world, mixing business and pleasure.

“Venus here polishes your reputation, making you more admired and desirable in public spaces. Romantic prospects may emerge through professional connections, or your partner may feel extra proud to stand by your side as you succeed. Even if romance takes a back seat, this period proves that your ambition itself is magnetic,” said Cheung

Date idea: Cheung recommends making the scene with a significant other at a gallery opening or work function to see how cosplaying as a power couple feels.

For, Aquarius folk, Venus in Libra lights up their ninth house of higher learning and new horizons.

“Relationships take on an expansive, philosophical tone. You may be drawn to someone who broadens your worldview, teaches you something profound, or shares your thirst for adventure. For couples, this is a season to grow together through travel, study, or spiritual exploration,” said Cheung.

She shared that for water bearers, love is not just a feeling, but an all-out education.

Date idea: Cheung recommends an unconventional class like improv, breathwork or puppy yoga to foster an unexpected, shared experience.

Cheung notes that for Pisces people, Venus in Libra activates their eighth house of intimacy and shared resources, sex, death and taxes, baby.

“Venus in Libra reminds you that true connection is both tender and practical. You may find yourself negotiating boundaries around money, energy or emotional investment. For singles, attraction feels magnetic and transformative, but it also comes with questions of trust and reciprocity.”

She shared that with this astro energy afoot, love is about taking a deep dive while “balancing vulnerability with responsibility.”

Date idea: Cheung recommends an intentional foray into whimsy: “Think butterfly conservatory or botanical garden at sunset.”
