Dancing With the Stars pro Britt Stewart and CODA actor Daniel Durant are married.

Stewart and Durant, both 35, tied the knot in Santa Margarita, California, on Saturday, August 23. “I was never the little girl that had big dreams of a fairy-tale wedding. So when I describe our wedding, I want it to feel like an abundance of love connecting everyone there!” Stewart told People in an interview published on Wednesday, August 27.

The couple were joined by DWTS’ Derek Hough and wife Hayley Erbert — who was Stewart’s maid of honor — Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, Jenna Johnson, Rylee Arnold, Ezra Sosa, Emma Slater, Alan Bersten, Daniella Karagach, Brandon Armstrong, Witney Carson and more. Stewart’s season 29 partner, Johnny Weir, was also in attendance and served as a bridesmaid, while Durant’s CODA costars Troy Kotsur and Marlee Matlin were on hand to celebrate.

“I never could imagine what my wedding would be like and it still feels a little bit like a dream. But it’s real. It’s happening!” Durant told the outlet. The duo described their wedding theme as “connection.”

Durant proposed during a Christmas Day hike in Lake Arrowhead, California, surrounded by family and friends. “We were both emotional, overwhelmed with joy and at peace knowing that this would eventually be part of our story,” Stewart told People in December 2023. “It felt like magic, but at the same time, it felt right and normal.”

Stewart’s mom and stepdad, Jasmin and Lonnie Speed, tagged along for the excursion, as did Durant’s moms, Lori Durant and Mary Engels. They all shared their hopes for the new year, with Daniel going last and getting down on one knee.

“I started talking about the year, about us meeting and everything that happens in life. I just feel like there’s balance,” he explained to People. “She sees me. She knows my culture, my language, and understands everything about me.”
