A dead body washed ashore on Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach on Christmas morning, according to authorities.
The victim, a man believed to be in his 50s, was found around 11:20 a.m. Thursday near Brighton 15th Street and Boardwalk East, police and sources said.
Grim photos show the corpse lying under a white sheet, just feet from the water.

The gruesome discovery comes two weeks after human remains were found in the Bronx’s Van Cortlandt Park.
A group of artifact hunters made the chilling discovery in a wooded section of the park, just off the southbound side of the Major Deegan Expressway.
The city’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will officially determine the cause of death.
