The Democrat candidate running for Nassau County executive slammed Republican incumbent Bruce Blakeman for backing President Trump’s global tariffs, which have triggered a massive drop in the stock market.

“It’s disgusting that Bruce Blakeman stood there clapping as President Trump slapped an arbitrary tariff on Israel. What a phony. “I continue to stand with organized labor and the working men and women of Nassau County in supporting job creation and economic security here in America,” Blakeman said Sunday.
