Deranged NYC father kills wife, stabs 2-year-old — then tries to take his own life

A deranged Queens man killed his wife and stabbed his 2-year-old girl with a kitchen knife before turning the weapon on himself, according to authorities.

An unidentified 54-year-old man stabbed both the 41-year-old mother and the child in the neck and chest multiple times before thrusting the knife in his own chest at their Ridgewood home on Saturday, according to sources and the NYPD.

“It’s  shocking, you know, that it happens right next door to you,” said a neighbor in the quiet, working-class area, who gave his name as Andres.

“I guess, you don’t know who your neighbors are.”

The 41-year-old woman was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where she was later pronounced dead, the NYPD said.

The 2-year-old girl was taken to Wykoff Heights Medical Center in critical condition.

Cops said the 54-year-old man was also taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he is in critical condition.

A kitchen knife was recovered at the scene, according to sources.
