Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Halloween celebration is going to look — and taste – a little different this year.
As he continues serving his sentence at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, the music mogul will mark the holiday without any treats.
“No candy on Halloween,” an MDC spokesperson told People on Wednesday, October 29.
Instead, Diddy, 55, and other inmates at the facility — like accused UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione — will reportedly be able to have breakfast at 6:00 a.m. According to the publication, a portion of fruit is served next to a scoop of assorted cereal and a breakfast pastry.
Five hours later, inmates are welcome to have lunch, which consists of baked fish or a scoop of black beans with rice pilaf, spinach and coleslaw. A slice of whole wheat bread with fruit and a beverage completes the meal.
For dinner, inmates can eat a turkey roast with some gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and another slice of whole wheat bread beginning at 4 p.m.
For those who choose to skip the meat, two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are offered as an alternative.
Us Weekly has reached out to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for comment.
In previous years, Diddy has gone all out for Halloween by either hosting parties or dressing up in elaborate costumes. In 2023, the rapper wore a Batman costume from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight franchise.
Diddy has been held at MDC since he was arrested in September 2024 on charges of transportation to engage in prostitution, sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied the allegations against him.
In July, a New York jury found Diddy guilty on two counts of transportation but acquitted him of the other charges. A judge later sentenced the businessman to 50 months in prison. The time he has already served at MDC will count toward his sentence.
According to the Bureau of Prisons website, Diddy is scheduled to be released on May 8, 2028.
The rapper continues to maintain his innocence, with his legal team recently filing a notice of appeal.
Diddy’s lawyer Alexandra Shapiro filed the notice on October 20 and requested an appeal of both the conviction and sentence. The notice does not include an explanation of the grounds on which Diddy’s legal team will base the appeal, but they have previously argued that the statute governing transportation, the Mann Act, should not apply in his case.
Diddy’s team — who previously argued for a 14-month prison sentence — recently claimed that conditions in the MDC include “constant suicide watch,” “limited access to clean water” and “lack of access to healthy, or edible, food.”
