Donna Kelce Subtly Endorses Son Travis’ Intimate Florida Date Night With Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are finding a way to enjoy some much-deserved downtime in Florida — and while the public is jonesing for a glimpse of the couple, their family members seemingly approve of their low-key date nights.

Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, dropped a “like” on an Instagram fan account’s image of Travis and Swift, both 35, enjoying a dinner date at Harry’s in West Palm Beach on Friday, May 24.

In the social media snap, Travis and the pop star were seen sitting next to each other in a rounded booth. They appeared deep in conversation while nursing their drinks.

Swift looked effortlessly chic for the outing, wearing an off-the-shoulder floral sundress with a black handbag. For glam, she tied her naturally curly blonde locks in an updo. Travis, for his part, sported a leaf-printed button-down shirt with khaki pants and a black baseball cap.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Swift have been enjoying their low-key era, hunkering down while they have downtime in their usually busy schedules.

“Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in a cover story last month. “They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”

Travis, meanwhile, recently relocated to Florida temporarily to start training for the upcoming 2025-2026 NFL season, renting a $20 million residence in Boca Raton for the duration.

“Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye,” a second source told Us in April. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”

Swift and Travis have been dating since summer 2023, shortly after the NFL star jokingly called her out on his “New Heights” podcast for not wanting to meet when he went to her Eras Tour show in Kansas City. After hearing Travis’ podcast pleas, Swift privately reached out.

“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” she told TIME in a December 2023 profile, addressing her first appearance at his game that September. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

Since then, Swift has been a fixture at Travis’ Chiefs matchups, including back-to-back appearances at the Super Bowl.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” the Grammy winner gushed to the outlet. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.

Travis evidently feels the same, making it to many of Swift’s Eras concerts and even hosting a surprise “end of an era” party when the history-making run came to an end in December 2024.
