Emily Osment has reportedly settled her divorce from Jack Anthony after five months of marriage.
According to TMZ, Osment filed the settlement documents on Monday, March 10, which also happens to be her 33rd birthday. Just three days prior, the actress submitted paperwork in court to end her marriage to Anthony, 42, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Osment had listed the date of separation as December 7, 2024 — two months after their October wedding.
Us Weekly has reached out to Osment’s rep for comment.
The star of the CBS comedy Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage has yet to acknowledge her split from Anthony on social media, but on Monday she took to her Instagram Stories and reposted a series of birthday tributes from friends and family.
Osment and Anthony signed a prenup and share no children. Osment, also known for her roles in the Spy Kids film franchise and the Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana series, kept their relationship out of the spotlight. The exes are reported to have first met in 2021. They announced their engagement via Instagram in June 2023, with Osment praising Anthony in a heartfelt post.
“This magical, beautiful, kaleidoscope of a person asked me to marry him this weekend. I did not know life could be this sweet or I could ever be this deliriously happy,” Osment wrote alongside a photo that showed off her engagement ring.
She added: “I am so proud of the life we have built together and the people we have become over the last few years. This love is so big and so uniquely ours and I know it can do anything. I am so honored to stand next to you every day. I love you, Jack.”
Osment’s brother, Haley Joel Osment, had played a part in the wedding ceremony and stood beside her at the altar.
“It was really cute,” she said during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in October. “I loved being able to sort of have him support me in that way, to support both of us in that way. He just nailed it.”
Osment debuted her ex-husband on Instagram four years ago. “Getting stronger and weirder with every year that passes. So happy to be right where I am. Happy new year from my couch!! 🍾 ✨,” she captioned a New Year’s Eve snapshot with Anthony.
She also honored Anthony when he turned 40 circa 2023.
“National jack day!!!” she declared via Instagram. “Happy birthday to the absolute best. he walks into each day with kindness and silliness and a lust for life. we should all be a little more like him. send him love today for he is pure magic. I love you!”
