Eric Dane’s Girlfriend Priya Jain ‘Devastated’ After He ‘Blindsided’ Her With Janell Shirtcliff Outing (Exclusive)

Eric Dane has found himself in a love triangle.

The Grey’s Anatomy alum brought filmmaker Janell Shirtcliff to the Los Angeles premiere of his new Prime Video show, Countdown, on June 18, but a source tells Us Weekly he was “still seeing” model and actress Priya Jain at the time.

“Priya is devastated,” the insider says, claiming the “blindsided” designer, 27, had spoken to Dane, 52, “just days before” he held hands with Shirtcliff, 41, on the red carpet — and got even cozier with the filmmaker at the afterparty.

Now, Jain is “totally done” with the actor but “wishes him all the best,” according to the source.

“There’s no chance of getting back together. Heartbreaks you move on from, but the public humiliation lingers on,” the insider tells Us. “She wants to move forward in her career and with her life in general. She just wants this all behind her.”

Dane and Jain “met through a mutual friend and dated for one year,” the source tells Us, but the Naked Lynx founder “was not aware” that the Euphoria star was “dating anyone else.”

“It shocked her seeing him with another woman. She did not see it coming,” the insider shares. “They were together constantly. They had seen each other mostly every day. He introduced her as his girlfriend. They loved each other and said, ‘I love you’ all the time.”

The pair even got matching tattoos of stars on their wrists, per the source, and Jain “spent so long caring for” Dane after he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

“She wanted to be there for him. There was no desire not to be there,” the insider says. “But he has saved her a lot of heartbreak. She would have been there for all of it, and it would have been devastating. He saved her years, and as heartbreaking as it is, maybe it was a blessing with the relationship coming to an end.”

The Last Ship alum is still legally married to Rebecca Gayheart, with whom he shares two daughters: Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13.

Gayheart, 53, filed for divorce in 2018 but called it off in March, just weeks before her husband went public with his ALS battle.

Dane recently shared that he has talked to Gayheart “every day” since learning he has the incurable neurodegenerative disease.

“We have managed to become better friends and better parents,” he told Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America on June 16. “And she is … probably my biggest champion and my most stalwart supporter. And I lean on her.”
