A second man has been charged with attacking law enforcement with Molotov cocktails during the chaotic anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles this past weekend.
Wrackkie Quiogue, of Long Beach, Calif., faces a federal charge of possession of an unregistered destructive device — and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
Prosecutors say Quiogue, 27, was caught on body camera footage confronting LAPD officers during a downtown protest Sunday with a Molotov cocktail and lighter in hand.
“Los Angeles Police Department officers saw Quiogue with the device and quickly arrested him,” prosecutors said in a statement. “As Quiogue attempted to flee arrest, he threw the Molotov.”
Quiogue was ordered detained following an initial court appearance Tuesday.
