Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the gained 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE:), which rose 2.90% or 0.27 points to trade at 9.39 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:) added 2.12% or 1.12 points to end at 53.88 and Orion Oyj B (HE:) was up 1.69% or 0.75 points to 45.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:), which fell 1.90% or 0.28 points to trade at 14.23 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:) declined 0.23% or 0.03 points to end at 10.62 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) was down 0.19% or 0.02 points to 9.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 100 to 70 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 0.19% or 0.02 to 9.30.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.96% or 0.71 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.20% or 0.84 to hit $70.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.22% or 32.75 to trade at $2,707.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.72% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.13% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 107.61.
