Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Helsinki, the lost 0.50%.

The best performers of the session on the were Nokia Oyj (HE:), which rose 2.28% or 0.10 points to trade at 4.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE:) added 2.25% or 0.10 points to end at 4.41 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) was up 0.93% or 0.08 points to 8.64 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Qt Group Oyj (HE:), which fell 2.34% or 2.10 points to trade at 87.80 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) declined 2.25% or 0.13 points to end at 5.64 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) was down 1.66% or 0.18 points to 10.66.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 91 to 66 and 32 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.28% or 0.10 to 4.37. Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.25% or 0.13 to 5.64.

Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.45% or 1.06 to $74.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.76% or 1.21 to hit $69.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 4.15 to trade at $2,734.15 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 103.76.
