It’s not sundae — it’s one day.
Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is set to serve a deliciously decadent Dubai Chocolate Sundae for one day only.
What’s the inside scoop?
The shop at the Empire State Building will begin serving the limited-edition dessert on Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m. and dish it out until supplies last.
The rich and creamy concoction is a fusion of Ghirardelli’s world-famous hot fudge mixed in with layers of vanilla ice cream, a mixture of pistachio butter, white chocolate, and kataifi — shredded phyllo.
Forget a cherry on top. This delicacy is topped with a gold-leafed Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Caramel square sitting in drizzles of whipped cream and caramel sauce.
Despite the decadence, the sweet treat is surprisingly light. So don’t be surprised if you devour it all alone — treat yourself.

The sundae is inspired by the widely popular Can’t Get Khanafed Of It bar, first created by Sarah Hamouda of Dubai-based Fix Dessert Chocolatier. The $20 goodie is a milk chocolate bar filled with khanafeh, pistachio cream and tahini spread.
“The Dubai Chocolate Sundae is the best of Ghirardelli tradition while bringing a fresh take on the latest viral sensation,” Lacey Zane, Vice President of Restaurant & Retail at Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, said in a statement.
Ghirardelli debuted the Dubai Chocolate Sundae at their home base in San Francisco on March 8 to much fanfare.
The line wrapped around the block as people with a sweet tooth waited hours for a lick.
Ghirardelli is the latest company to dig into the viral sensation that’s caused a frenzy and pushed some to travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where the confection was created.
Fortunately, New Yorkers haven’t had to book a flight to get a taste.
Last week, Shake Shack released a Dubai Chocolate Shake, which The Post’s Steve Cuozzo deemed “the year’s junk-food superstar.”
The fast-food chain only serves 25 a day and typically sells out by noon — an hour and a half after most stores open.
So, unwrap the hype next weekend and get in line at the Ghirardelli store in Midtown South to see the latest miracle on 34th Street.
