Girl With No Job’s Claudia Oshry and her husband, Ben Soffer, are getting ready for parenthood.
In a video shared via Instagram on Sunday, November 17, Oshry, 30, looked shocked as she picked up a pregnancy test. After Oshry turned the stick around to show the results of the test, she and Soffer shared a sweet embrace.
The video cut to Oshry laying down at a sonogram appointment as she smiled for the camera. “I’M HAVIN’ HIS BAAABY! 🐣,” she captioned their joint post.
In a video shared via Patreon on Sunday, Oshry showed the moment when she found out she is pregnant. “No f—ing way,” she said, while her jaw dropped and she called Soffer into the room. When she showed him the positive test, he said, “Shut up. Oh, my God.”
After finding out the news, Claudia called her loved ones including her “The Toast” podcast cohost, Jackie Oshry. The next morning, Claudia shared that she told all of her loved ones.
“Did not sleep a wink,” she said. “I’m, like, seriously having an out of body experience. It’s so crazy to, like, want to be something so badly, like cry about it for months and then you get to be that something, and, like, seriously I don’t know how to react.”
Claudia took her followers along to her doctors appointment, where she and Soffer heard their baby’s heartbeat for the first time. “Oh, my God. Normal, healthy. Thank you God,” she said after the appointment.
Later in the video, Claudia opened up about gaining weight during pregnancy. “I already have such a f—ed up self-image with, like, Ozempic and the weight loss,” she said. “I’m eating anything in sight. Just bagels all the time. I’m going to end up the weight that I was when I started Ozempic. That’s something I’m slowly coming to terms with.”
Continuing her vlog a couple weeks later, Claudia explained that going to Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour during her first trimester was “one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made in my life.”
“I was seriously not OK,” she said. “Obviously, no disrespect to Taylor. I wasn’t OK. We got so much s—t on the podcast for leaving early. I wanted to leave an hour before, you guys. I was not OK. So nauseous, so hot, so tired. Like, actually not having a good time.”
Claudia concluded her video by gushing that she’s “looking forward to this journey.” She added, “These days, I’m feeling much better. And I feel like now I can really get excited. I’ve always been excited about the baby, but a little weary of the pregnancy. Now that I’m feeling a little bit more like myself, I feel like I can really enjoy being pregnant and everything that comes along with it.”
