GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy, a doctor, accuses RFK Jr. of ‘denying people vaccines’

WASHINGTON — Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) read emails to HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during a Thursday hearing from several people who say they’ve been left in the lurch, denied vaccines after recent CDC decisions to change recommendations.

“I would say, effectively, we’re denying people vaccines,” Cassidy said after reading the messages from conservative radio host Erick Erickson and a friend of the Louisiana Republican, who is a doctor.

“You’re wrong,” HHS Sec. RFK Jr. responded.
