Twin time! Actress Scarlett Hefner and Cooper Hefner’s babies arrived on Tuesday, March 29, Us Weekly exclusively confirms.
“Scarlett and I are elated that our two daughters, Marigold Adele Hefner and Blossom Pearl Hefner have joined us in the world at 10:17am and 10:18am,” Cooper, 30, gushed to Us. “Our hearts are fuller than ever before. Scarlett and the girls are healthy and resting now at home. We are counting our blessings as a family as we sit in the extended love we have been gifted with.”
Marigold arrived at 5 pounds and 10 ounces, while Blossom weighed in at 5 pounds and 14 ounces.
The infants’ parents started dating in 2014, and the late Hugh Hefner’s son proposed the following year. The pair tied the knot in November 2019 in a California courthouse.
“Scarlett and I have made it officially legal and the two of us could not be happier,” the businessman tweeted following the nuptials. “Cheers to a life full of love, happiness, adventure and great purpose, Mrs. Hefner. I very much look forward to planning our wedding celebrations in the months ahead. I love you, Scarlett.”
The bride, 31, added in a post of her own: “I love you, Cooper. I am proud to stand by your side, as your partner, your friend and your wife. I cannot wait to continue building a life together. My heart is so full and I am so grateful for our love.”
She and the Los Angeles native announced in March 2020 that they were starting a family. “Scarlett and I have been blessed with wonderful news we are ecstatic to share,” Cooper told his Instagram followers at the time. “This summer we will be welcoming a new member to the family. The two of us could not be happier as we wait for the arrival of our little one.”
The Harry Potter actress gave birth to daughter Betsy five months after their announcement. The parents announced that they had conceived their second and third children in November 2021.
“Scarlett and I will be welcoming two new members of the family this spring,” Cooper captioned an Instagram reveal at the time. “We couldn’t be happier as we wait on the arrival of our twins. A very happy Thanksgiving to all!”
Scarlett, for her part, gushed, “Thankful for our growing family. Cooper and I are very excited to share that we will be welcoming twins at the beginning of 2022. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving.”
That same month, the then-pregnant star spent a “dream” week with her family in London, introducing Betsy to her grandma.
“After a little over two years, we visited my Nan and our loved ones,” she captioned a trip pic via Instagram at the time. “This trip was special for many reasons. Not only did Betsy meet her family in England for the first time, we also managed to fulfill my Nan’s wish to have both of her great grandchildren in the same room. Thank you @cooperhefner or planning a beautiful trip for our family, as I will hold these memories we made close to my heart forever.”
